A Strong Republican Party Honors the Primary — and That’s a Victory for Texas

Tonight, I was reminded why the Republican Party is strong.
Not because we all agree — but because we don’t.
I saw Republicans with different opinions, different priorities, and different ideas standing together and honoring the primary election process. That matters. A party that allows open debate, welcomes disagreement, and respects the will of voters is a party built to last.
Primary elections are not a weakness. They are a strength.
They are where ideas are tested, where voices are heard, and where leadership is earned — not handed down. When a party respects that process, it shows confidence in its people and faith in the voters.
That unity — even in disagreement — is something rare in politics today. And it’s something worth protecting.
Texas deserves leaders who respect the process, respect the voters, and respect one another — even when we don’t see eye to eye.
That’s the kind of Republican Party I believe in.
That’s the kind of strength Texas needs.
