Born in Blood, Built to Endure — Why Texas Must Lead the Energy Future

By Freddie America

Texas has always been a land for the brave.

A land of pioneers.

A land of fighters.

A land of men and women who endured droughts, storms, wars, and hardships — and stood tall through every trial.

This truth is woven through every book I’ve written:

  •        Born in Blood — the story of Texas endurance

  •        Heritage in the Heart of Texas — the history that shaped us

  •        The Soul of Texas — the spirit that binds us together

  •        From Texas to the Capitol — the courage to stand

  •        Remora: The Beasley Files — the sacrifice and legacy of service

Texas has survived everything thrown at it.

We do not break.

We do not kneel.

We endure — and we rise.

But today, Texas faces a new kind of challenge.

Not from an enemy abroad — but from a system struggling to keep up with the future.

The challenge is power — the power that runs our homes, our hospitals, our schools, our industries, and our future.

I’ve studied this for years.

I’ve read the research.

I’ve read the science.

I’ve read the books like How to Drive a Nuclear Reactor — because I wanted to understand the truth.

And the truth is simple:

**Texas can become the clean energy powerhouse of the world.

A nuclear-powered leader.

Stable. Safe. Carbon-free.

A nation within a nation.**

1. Texas Has a History of Surviving Through Innovation

Our ancestors:

  •        Dug wells

  •        Built settlements

  •        Survived drought

  •        Fought bandits and armies

  •        Built ranches in the middle of nowhere

  •        Created energy empires

  •        Turned dust into opportunity

  •        Built the 7th-largest economy on Earth

We did not survive because we were lucky.

We survived because we ADAPTED.

Every time Texas was challenged, Texans innovated.

And now we face a new challenge:

A grid that cannot keep up with the future.

2. Texas Has the Surplus, Technology, and Talent — But Not the Leadership

I have written to the Governor.

More than once.

Not to attack him — but to warn him.

Not out of politics — but out of duty.

Texas has:

  •        The money

  •        The minerals

  •        The land

  •        The workforce

  •        The engineers

  •        The AI companies

  •        The tech giants

  •        The innovation culture

  •        The energy history

We should not be having power shortages in the greatest energy state in America.

We should not experience blackouts like the crisis five years ago.

We should not fear the next storm.

We should not be vulnerable when the world needs us to lead.

But every time I wrote my concerns…

I never received a response.

Not because the Governor is a bad man.

Not because he doesn’t care.

But because Texas is so large, and government is so busy, that sometimes they forget the one voice that matters:

THE PEOPLE.

3. This Is Not About Politics — This Is About Protecting Texans

I don’t care about parties.

I don’t care about red or blue.

I care about:

  •        Families

  •        Veterans

  •        Seniors

  •        Widows

  •        Workers

  •        Students

  •        Homeowners

  •        Texas

I care about keeping the lights on.

I care about making sure Texans never freeze again.

I care about making sure our grid is strong enough for AI, data centers, manufacturing, and innovation.

And I care that we don’t fall behind the rest of the world.

4. SMRs: The Energy of the Future — Built for Texas

Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) are:

Carbon-free

Safe

Clean

Long-lasting

Storm-resistant

Scalable

Capable of powering entire cities

The key to powering AI, EVs, chip factories, and modern Texas

With SMRs, Texas could:

  •        End blackouts

  •        Lower bills

  •        Power schools

  •        Power hospitals

  •        Power military bases

  •        Power AI factories

  •        Power data centers

  •        Strengthen rural counties

  •        Create thousands of energy jobs

And yes…

Texas could provide energy dividends to the people —

JUST like Alaska’s oil dividend.

Imagine:

Every Texan receiving a clean energy dividend check every quarter — forever.

That is not a dream.

That is mathematics.

That is innovation.

That is Texas potential.

5. Why I Keep Fighting and Writing

Every book I’ve written carries the same message:

Texas endures — and Texas advances.

Born in Blood — Texas stands through hardship.

Heritage in the Heart of Texas — Texas never bows.

The Soul of Texas — Texas spirit cannot be broken.

This campaign is not just political.

This is historical.

This is generational.

This is destiny.

6. My Promise to Texas

As your Representative for District 89, I will:

Fight for SMR implementation

Modernize Texas energy

Strengthen the grid

Ensure no Texan loses power in a crisis

Bring energy dividends back to Texans

Create a future powered by clean energy

Build jobs for decades to come

Lead Texas into the next century

Texas does not wait.

Texas does not fear the future.

Texas IS the future.

Final Word

The world is changing.

Power is the new gold.

Energy is the new frontier.

Texas must lead — not follow.

We must protect our people.

We must modernize our grid.

We must embrace innovation.

We must honor our heritage by building a future worthy of the Texas name.

Texas was born in blood — through struggle.

Texas carries the heritage of survivors.

Texas has the soul of warriors.

Now Texas must write the next chapter —

one powered by innovation, unity, clean energy, and courage.

I am ready.
