End Property Taxes in Texas: A Message to 35,000 Texans Demanding Real Reform

No Relief. No Reform. Texans across the state are saying the same thing: property taxes are out of control, and cosmetic fixes are no longer enough.

I want to personally thank the 35,000+ members of the Eliminate Property Tax community for standing up and demanding something bigger than slogans — real, structural reform. Your voices matter. Your persistence matters. And your understanding of how deeply property taxes affect families, retirees, farmers, and small business owners matters.

Why Property Taxes Are the Core Issue in Texas

Property taxes are not just a budget problem — they are a constitutional and structural problem.

In Texas, property taxes:

  • Increase even when incomes do not

  • Force seniors and families out of their homes

  • Punish small businesses and landowners

  • Turn homeownership into a form of permanent rent to the government

Texans should own their homes outright, not lease them from the state year after year.

Real Reform Requires More Than Promises

Ending property taxes is not about who is loudest — it is about who understands the law, the limits of office, and the path to real change.

True reform requires:

  • Honesty about who has authority and who does not

  • Legislative and constitutional alignment

  • A clear plan to replace broken systems, not just campaign language

Texans are smart. They know the difference between rhetoric and results.

A Grassroots Movement — Not a Top‑Down One

What makes the Eliminate Property Tax movement powerful is that it is citizen‑driven. It is homeowners, retirees, ranchers, and workers saying enough is enough.

When independent editors and grassroots leaders elevate voices that focus on substance instead of slogans, that matters. It shows Texans are paying attention — and demanding accountability.

A Message to Collin County and North Texas

Collin County and North Texas families are among the hardest hit by rising property taxes. Appraisal spikes, school finance pressure, and unchecked growth have made stability impossible for many homeowners.

This fight is personal — and it is local.

Commitment Going Forward

I will continue to:

  • Speak honestly about what reform requires

  • Defend homeowners from unchecked taxation

  • Push for solutions that actually lower the property tax burden, not shift it around

To everyone fighting this battle across Texas — thank you. This movement belongs to you.

Real reform starts with truth. And it continues with action.
