Texans are being crushed under a property tax system that violates the very Constitution meant to protect us.

And while politicians argue, promise, stall, and campaign — Texans continue to suffer every single year.

The truth is this:

Texas does NOT have a “local” property tax system anymore.

It has evolved into a statewide property tax, something that is explicitly prohibited by the Texas Constitution:

📜 Article 8, Section 1-e: “NO STATEWIDE PROPERTY TAX.”

Even the Texas Supreme Court ruled that our current school finance scheme has crossed the line and now functions as a de-facto statewide tax controlled by the Legislature.

Yet nothing changes.

Why?

Because talking about reform wins elections.

Actually fixing it would end a 40-year revenue machine that the state depends on — at the expense of YOU.

🔥 What I am fighting for

I am fighting for a Texas where:

  •        Seniors can retire with dignity

  •        Widows are not threatened with losing their homes

  •        Veterans are not punished by the very state they defended

  •        Families can afford to stay in Texas

  •        Schools are funded legally and consistently

  •        And the Constitution is followed — not ignored when convenient

Texans deserve honesty.

Texans deserve fairness.

Texans deserve leaders who honor their oath — not hide behind loopholes.

🔥 School Funding Can Be Fixed WITHOUT Property Taxes

This is the part politicians never tell you:

We can fully fund Texas schools WITHOUT unconstitutional property taxes.

Why?

Because school districts do not operate on “local taxes” the way people are led to believe.

The state controls:

  •        The formulas

  •        The caps

  •        The recapture

  •        The redistribution

  •        The equalization

The current system is already a state responsibility, disguised as “local.”

The Supreme Court exposed this.

And that’s exactly why the system MUST be changed.

I didn’t just talk about it.

I took action.

I filed my lawsuit because:

  •        Texans deserve constitutional protection

  •        Families deserve stability

  •        Property ownership should NOT mean permanent rent to the government

  •        And leaders who violate the Constitution must be challenged

If we don’t stand up now, then when?

If not us, then who?
