Why Texas Must Think About Water and Energy Together

What if Texas solved water and energy at the same time?

This right here is just a concept — but it’s a serious one.

Imagine a coastal system near Corpus Christi where:

• An advanced nuclear SMR produces 300+ megawatts of reliable power

• A desalination plant converts Gulf water into 1,000,000+ gallons of fresh water per hour

That power runs the system…

That water feeds our cities…

And any extra energy goes back into the grid.

This is what “Power Back to Texas” really means:

Not just electricity — but water security, growth, and independence.

Texas doesn’t have a resource problem.

We have a planning problem.

What do you think — should Texas start building toward something like this?
